Our Statement of Faith

God created man for fellowship, making man in His own image. Man chose to disobey God and therefore became separated from God by sin, changing man's nature. Man was not capable of changing his own nature back. God therefore reached out to man by sending His Son, Jesus, to demonstrate the Father's heart and to call man back into a love relationship with God.

Jesus was the only perfect person, and therefore was the only one worthy to take our place in the punishment of death, dying on the cross to forgive us from sin and set us free to love God once again. Jesus rose from the dead, and before returning to the Father, He promised to send the Holy Spirit to all who believe in Him. The Holy Spirit teaches men, shines His light on Jesus, and convinces people of sin so that we may receive forgiveness and get right with God.

We may have fellowship directly with God by believing in Him and accepting Him as our Savior and Lord, and trusting in His sacrifice alone for our salvation. We are transformed into Christ's likeness as we exercise faith in Him and obey His written word and His Holy Spirit.

God works through His body, the church, to the extent that we maintain humility, that we forgive one another, and obey the Lord's leading in our lives.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus. He is coming again to judge the living and the dead, and to establish His dominion forever. All doctrine is based on the complete bible. Day to day strategies are given by the Lord through the Holy Spirit; these strategies are in line with God's character and the doctrine expressed through the written bible.
